On this brisk winter day (temperatures below freezing), Brianna never let this affect her mood. This poised athlete carried herself with confidence and grace throughout our shoot. She even went as far as to wear her dress as the sun was setting over the Seattle waterfront. Serious commitment. (A few goosebumps maybe have been airbrushed out of these photos.
It may have taken me hours to regain feeling in my in fingers (must have taken Brianna an entire day), but it was so worth it. Many of my favorite shoots from this last year have happened on the coldest days of winter, and this shoot is no exception.
After nine years of being a China-based photographer, this was my first wedding as an American photographer actually living in the USA, and it was an honor. With the perfect NW Summer day, and a relaxed, joyful bride and groom, natural lovely moments happened all day long. Boxx Berry Farms had plenty of space for a photo booths, yard games, a fire pit, and the reception, which meant every guest had something fun to do, and most people stayed until the very end.
Flew from China to the US for this beautiful couple’s wedding. Their family and friends were so wonderful and encouraging. Ryan and Alyssa were full of so much joy, you could see that they really were best friends.
The day was beautiful and the leaves in Pennsylvania were inspiring. As a Washington girl surrounded by hills of fir trees, I had never fully realized how amazing rolling hills of orange, red and yellow leaves could really be. They chose the perfect weekend to get married and I loved being a part of their wedding day. Congrats guys!
I was so honored to take pregnancy photos for this amazing couple. We just wandered around Kunming, having fun and exploring the textures and backgrounds of China.
The weekend I got back from my photography internship in New Zealand, I led two workshops at the Youth Retreat in Kunming. We chatted about lighting, shapes, catching the moment & how to worship God using photography. Then went out and took photos. The youth took some amazing photos and I felt so lucky to be a part of Permeate. Thanks guys for making it so much fun.
