You would never be able to tell that this relaxed family was packing up to move across the country in a few days. Even more impressive than that, their personalities & interactions didn’t change when the camera came out. No coaching necessary, they just had fun with playing with their daughter in one of their favorite Seattle parks. And I had fun chasing after them.
Wandered around downtown Kunming with this beautiful engaged couple in the Spring. So much happiness and love.
Wandering around a Chinese apartment complex with a beautiful & personable family. It was a beautiful day. I love it when I form a relationship with people through photography and get to know a family as they grow. I miss my China friends.
Andrea and I knew each other in high school, then went off on our different traveling adventures in all corners of the globe. I was so surprised and excited to get an email asking to meet up this summer, and then to photograph their wedding. Ben & Andrea’s love is an easy and deep love that welcomes and draws in everyone around them. Their wedding day was personal, warm and an absolute joy to shoot.
Had a blast with my lovely Settlers of Catan friends taking some photos for their trip back to the US. I am lucky to know these two, and honored that they asked me to take their photos.
We wandered wandered around the same location that we used to shoot their Deep Green knitwear line (scarves & cowls are beautiful in quality and design, proceeds going to aid woman who have suffered injustice in Asia), then went to a beautiful abandoned building, and ended with wandering around a gracious woman’s pear farm. It really is a blast doing photo shoots in China. So many different textures, locations and random experiences to explore.
