I have been honored to work with Susanna Burton Photography for the past month and a half. I was her second shooter at a beautiful church wedding, on a rainy, but romantic afternoon.

The perk of being the second shooter in a wedding is that I get to take a lot more of the creative, detail and candid shots. After being the main photographer, it is a fun relief and a chance to practice with new techniques. This couple was just beautiful and didn’t let the stress of the day overshadow their connection and joy, even when the grooms tie got bloody from a cut on his groomsmen’s finger, they found the soda water, scrubbed it out, and made a very unique memory. I felt very lucky to be a part of their wedding day.

Took the beautifully enchanting Camilla to downtown Kunming for her senior portraits. Along the way we happened upon a building that had recently been knocked down and decided to stop and take a few shots of this very common Kunming sight. Then we hopped back in a taxi and took the rest of our shots at the Bird & Flower market. It was an incredibly sunny day for December and quite a blast.
